Quiz Night on Friday 19th March from 7.00pm-9.15pm

Larkrise is holding a Quiz Night on Friday 19th March from 7.00pm-9.15pm in the school hall.
Teams (max 6) can be made up of students / families or adults at a cost of £10 a team or £2 per person if you want to come and make up a team on the night. Tickets are available from the school office. If sending money in with students, please ask them to go to Student Services.
There will be a prize for the winning KS3 student team / KS4 & 6th form / families and all adult team.  More...

Everyone who saw Bugsy, that is!

Lark Rise would like to congratulate all the students involved in Bugsy. We were awed by the fantastic range of talent - actors, dancers, musicians – you were fantastic. And not forgetting the students who worked so hard backstage – we might not have seen you, but productions like this don’t happen without you. You have all made us really proud to be part of the Larkmead community.

• Cycle Safety Report 2009... This report was released to the press by Chris Harris, Head Teacher of Larkmead School, on Monday 12th October 2009.  The report was put together by Councillor Colin Walters following a review of cycle and pedestrian safety in Abingdon.  All of the secondary schools in Abingdon were consulted during this process.
• Infomation on Working Tax Credits... This guide looks at how schools can help parents find out about the financial support available for childcare to enable them to work or train – and at the same time make extended childcare services more affordable and sustainable.
